Critical Reflection
Nwokocha Favour Nkasiobi is a highly talented digital artist with a knack for critical reflection and illustration. Originally from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria, she grew up in Ajah Lagos and continues to reside there to this day. Favour’s journey into the world of art began at a young age when she would accompany her photographer father to events. While she was captivated by the idea of capturing beautiful pictures, she found even greater joy in sketching those photographs, believing that they looked even more stunning that way.
A Youthful Ambition
At the age of 17, Favour created her first artwork, which quickly gained popularity among her close relatives who purchased them for home decoration. She also organized local exhibitions in her community, showcasing her amateur yet captivating handmade woven decorations and local beaded jewellery.

After obtaining a degree in Fine Art from Osun State University in Nigeria, Favour has dedicated herself to refining her skills as an illustrator and digital artist, striving to reach higher standards. She firmly believes that given the opportunity, she can make a breakthrough in foreign markets. Favour has participated in numerous national artistic events in different roles. Notably, she recently concluded her first international art exhibition.
To align her creative passion with financial stability, Favour established Olowo Artistry. This company specializes in art commissions, particularly creating portraits for clients. Favour recognizes that embarking on such a venture requires great courage. However, her determination and dedication have propelled Olowo Artistry to cater to a diverse clientele from various countries. As a testament to her progress, Favour has expanded her team to meet the growing demand for portrait requests.
